What we collect

To carry a parcel we need the sender’s and recipient’s name, address, postcode and, where given, a phone number and email address. We record the weight and dimensions of the consignment, the scans it receives as it travels, and proof of delivery — which may include the name of the person who signed for it and where it was left.

If you use our website we record the technical information needed to serve and secure it, including the IP address that made each request. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not run third-party analytics, and there is no tracking pixel on this site.

Why we use it, and on what basis

• To perform the contract: collecting, carrying and delivering the consignment, and billing for it.
• Legitimate interests: preventing fraud and abuse of the tracking service, investigating claims, and improving our network.
• Legal obligation: keeping accounting records and responding to lawful requests.

Tracking links

A tracking number is effectively a password: anyone who has it can see that consignment’s progress. For that reason the public tracking page deliberately shows only the town and the outward part of the postcode, never the full delivery address, and abbreviates the name of whoever signed for the parcel. Full details are visible only to authenticated account holders and our staff.

How long we keep it

Personal data attached to a consignment is deleted twelve months after delivery. The operational record of the journey — the statuses, depots and timestamps, with no personal data in it — is retained for six years to meet accounting and claims obligations.

Who we share it with

The sender of a parcel can see its tracking and delivery information. We share data with our hosting and email providers, who process it on our instructions, and with law enforcement where we are legally required to. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing.

Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased where we no longer need it, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to receive a copy in a portable form. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.
